The Challenge
We faced unique challenges in finding Chinese actors in Barcelona, Spain, where the film was being produced, while also ensuring that all actors were legally able to work.
The customs process was insanely complicated, with fridges, glasses, and merchandise all needing to be imported and cleared. It was a nightmare, but we were able to pull strings and get everything needed by the day of the shoot.
The Solution
The film had a budget of $50,000, with an additional $10,000 allocated for social media versions. A total of 70 people were involved in the production, all working towards the common goal of introducing SuperBock Beer to the Chinese market.
As the film was originally intended as a digital spot, it was a thrilling surprise when it was eventually aired on television and used for graphics as well. The success of the film exceeded all expectations, Overall, the video was successful in introducing the SuperBock Beer brand to the China market and establishing its presence in the region.
